Punch a Pillow


Place a pillow on a bed or sofa and strike with a clenched fist. 

This allows a physical release of energy in a non-violent, non-threatening way. It is crucial to vent and exhaust unpleasant feelings that overtake us. Expressing feelings of anger, frustration, pain is very important but can be particularly challenging.  These powerful emotions fill us with energy that, left unexpressed (called suppression), can cause headaches, heart problems, joint problems, intestinal issues, other unpleasant effects.
