50 Years of Hospitality and Healing in the Mercy Tradition
For fifty years, Mercy Conference and Retreat Center (MCRC) has been a place of quiet renewal, deep listening, and sacred hospitality. From our early days hosting Marriage Encounter weekends and retreats for women religious, we’ve grown into a spiritual hub serving people of all faiths — offering retreats, workshops, spiritual direction, concerts, and creative spaces that nourish body, mind, and spirit.
Today, our doors remain open to caregivers, grieving families, frontline workers, faith leaders, artists, and anyone seeking rest and renewal. We continue to meet people where they are, with a simple welcome rooted in the Mercy tradition.
If you are financially able, we ask that you join your neighbors and friends around the Metropolitan St. Louis Area and participate in Give STL Day to support the important work of nonprofits in our community.
This year, GIVE STL Day will be for 24 hours on May 8, 2025. We invite you to donate during one of the Power Hours to have the maximum benefit:
- 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.
- 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m.
- 3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
- 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
- 9:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
During this 2025 Give STL Day, please consider gifts of multiples of "5" or "50" - e.g., $25, $50, $100, $250, $500, etc. Your financial gift will make it possible for MCRC to extend hospitality to those who need it most — for the next fifty years and beyond.
