Crayon on Paper

Crayon on Paper

Scribble with crayon as hard as possible onto a piece of paper.

Write a word repeatedly, trace a shape over & over, or simply rub the crayon hard in sloppy lines. Use a single crayon or use a variety of colors. Focus on pouring out your troubling emotions & thoughts through the crayon.

It is crucial to vent and exhaust the energy of unpleasant feelings that overtake us. This can be challenging for those who may have been raised to think that anger or sadness is bad or sinful. But, our spiritual and mental wellness hinge on our ability to express difficult, raw emotions. These powerful feelings fill us with energy that, left unexpressed (i.e. suppression), can cause headaches, heart problems, joint problems, intestinal/digestive issues, sleeping problems, eating issues, or other unpleasant effects.
